My name is Pawel, and I'm a VFX artist working in games.

Daily, I create VFX and I deal with technical issues during the game dev cycle. I believe I've collected enough knowledge about game development throughout my career to guide and help others, especially people who would like to learn more about VFX in games and have fun with the shaders and materials.

Here, you will learn a bit more about how to construct shaders in both Unity and Unreal Engine, my thought process when creating shaders and special effects.

Also, I'd like to create scenes and 3D objects for my supporters, so you can start with the ready scene, where lighting and all technical stuff have already been done for you. This way, you can focus on creating stunning visuals without worrying about the setup

1MAFX helped me create many FX by teaching how to use core softwares and techniques. Everything you learn can be re-use for various assets (meshes, textures, Blueprints etc.). Not only did I manage to learn how to create loots, slashes, impacts etc. It was really simple to iterate on different variations and ideas because you get to learn all the step of the creation. I am really grateful for the content of the courses which helped me made my way into the industry.

I am new to real-time VFX and I took up this job in July 2022. I relied on 1MAFX videos for my interview test and thats what got me my job. Kudos to 1MAFX for doing clean VFX teaching. There are lots of tutorials out there, but I wouldn't consider them as teaching.

I honestly think the 1MAFX material is the best deal possible.

If you like those examples that you saw in the preview, take it without hesitation. Each tutorial fully covers the designated topic and clearly explains all the steps for creating the shown effects and gives a clear understanding of what you should pay attention to.

I often refer to some of his videos over and over again to brush up on certain techniques.
